The Florida State Fair Purebred Dog Exhibit

The 2006 Florida State Fair will be held February 9 through 20 at the State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. One daily feature at the State Fair is the Purebred Dog Exhibit. Fair visitors can visit the ‘dog booths’ and see examples of different breeds of purebred dogs, and bring home information on dog clubs and service organizations. The Tampa Bay Kennel Club booth will be located in the Purebred Dog Exhibit, fairgoers are encouraged to stop by and pick up information on our organization. Daily dog demonstrations and parade of breeds are planned for the public’s enjoyment. Booth space is also available to commercial vendors.

On Saturday, February 11 the Purebred Dog Exhibit will host the Florida State Fair 4-H Dog Show. Classes will be held in Showmanship and Rally for 4-H members ages 8 to 18 and their dogs. On Sunday the 4-H Dog Show will move to the Charlie Lykes Arena for Obedience & Agility competitions.
